Constitutional Role and Responsibility

• Advising the Faculty Senate on issues related primarily to teaching and learning, especially as related to curricula: assessment, testing, distance learning, duel credit, technology and teaching facilities.

• Recommending and previewing additions, deletions, and changes to the Central Texas College Faculty Handbook

• Recommending and previewing Administration recommendation on faculty salary, benefits, teaching loads, office hours, leaves of absence, contractual matter, and other related concerns. 

• Representing faculty concerns to the College Administration, Committee-appointed councils, and/or the Board of Trustees on policies dealing with the educational programs and services provided by CTC which are of concern to those eligible for membership in the Faculty Senate.
