Faculty Professional Development Events

Mission: The Faculty Professional Development Plan (FPDP) promotes the requirement for the faculty to improve their knowledge and skills through a consistent, technologically-based record of activities. These activities focus on developing, enhancing, and celebrating faculty members' multiple roles as educators, practitioners, and scholars. As such, minimal continuing education requirements should include faculty participation in activities that enhance knowledge, skills, and methods in teaching, incorporate technology to provide strategies in multiple ways of teaching and learning, and support campus and community involvement in college success initiatives.
